Heading to Key West

I have detected there on multiple occasions when I have been down there camping nearby with my Scouts. I have found conditions at their largest beach near shore to be decent but offshore very muddy and difficult to walk through. Your foot sinks in and then you have to exert lots of effort to pull it back up. It was really horrible and I avoided it. I think you might prefer detecting the dry sand.
