Found a small ring last night marked 925k. Can anyone tell me what that means?

It means it's 92.5% silver.

I should have phrased that differently, I know what the 925 is but I have not seen 925 followed by a "K".

Might be as simple as the maker's mark.. i.e. Kay Jewelers...

Probably a jewelers mark. Do you have a photo of the mark?

I always get a kick out of these. At least it is a silver ring. Then the little 14k heart. I have found silver 24k only the 24k is a plated heart logo. was happy with the silver ring. Even got a stainless 10K ring once. At least this one had a thin 10k band around it. another stainless ring had a 14k mark but the heart was already worn off so the 0.0001 grams of 14k was already gone.
The heart is a layer of 14K soldered to the silver. The layer is about 1/16" thick. There is gold there but not worth counting.
