Hunted a 1940's house this morning (permission). 50 clad lincolns, 2 clad quarters, 2 clad nickels, 4 clad dimes, 1 canadian cent, 2 wheats-1942+1953,
and finally a nice 1952 silver rosie, yeah. Also remains of 2 toy trucks, ceramic
bear bell christmas ornament & 1 very large cat's eye shooter marble. This was
just the front yard I still have the back yard to do next weekend.

The 50 lincolns is a personal best for me, most ever found at one site.

I had 2 experiences like that. One was a yard that had 3 penny spills of 25-30 coins each. Maybe some kid was playing pirate and buried his booty.

Second was a snow cone stand. Open 6 months a year it had a drive up window that had a sandy patch below it one foot wide and six feet long. Pulled 173 coins out using the pinpointer. Mostly pennies it only tallied $3.17.
