Just found a tribe full of Chiefs and Indians on a mountain ridge where I live in Tennessee. The photo below shows 3 Identical Indians on top and 3 different varieties of Chiefs on the bottom (No diamonds around primer, 9 diamonds around primer, and a 10 diamonds around primer). Best headstamp day hunt I have ever had.

Nice headstamps. I have found a few myself. Are these becoming more collectible? If so, I may have to stop throwing them away.

Depends on who you talk to. Most people treat them like trash but you would be amazed how many different brands and varieties are out there. My understanding are that only a few like the Indians are sought after by collectors. They were only made a few years in the early 1900's.
There is a member on this site known as TurtleFoot who is supposed to be the expert on these but I'm not sure if he is still around. I seen where some members have been asking about him.
