Hello y'all! I am dubred. I am a 16 year old and my father got me into metal detecting. He used to use a Whites MXT, which he gave to me when he bought a CTX 3030. I started on a Whites Coinmaster Classic II that I found at goodwill. I haven't ever really found much in the realm of monetary wealth, but to me it isn't about making money, it is about making memories.

Good attitude ! Most (if not all) detectorists will tell people don't expect to get rich in this hobby :lol: it should be a hobby people simply do for fun and any really good finds you happen to dig are a nice bonus !

I’ve found some cool coins but my favorite find has no value to anyone but me. It’s a 1800s hand made toy. It’s a little ax head made of lead. I can envision the father making it for his son.
