(Mitgliedabzeichen) Certified. the National Socialists Teachers League or “Nationalsozialistiche Lehrerbund (NSLB) which was dissolved in 1943 by the NSDAP. A 21mm diameter, convex alloy badge, to whose obverse is enameled “N.S.L.B.” (“Nationalsozialistische Lehrerbund,” or, National-socialist Teachers’-league), in red, above a spread-winged eagle with a mobile swastika in its talons, in black, with sprigs of oak laves and acorns, in green, flanking the swastika. To its concave reverse is a horizontal pin-back device crimped to a small, circular plate, above which is embossed the manufacturer’s name and location, “Hoffstätter/Bonn,” with “Ges. Gesch.” (“Gesetzlich Geschützt,” or, By-law Protected) embossed beneath it.
