Default Tulsa Ok

Hello new to Metal Detecting wanted to know if there was anyone around that is up to taking in a rookie and showing them the ropes.

From what I can tell several are from the Tulsa area but might not be active on the board. I am also an Okie located north of Tulsa in Ochelata. I am fairly new to the hobby and still learning. You can do a google search and find a couple of MD clubs in the area. They are a good place to start. I also found this site http://okmdclub.proboards.com/ but is not very active. I have located a few FB sites from Oklahoma that are active. Hope that helps.
