Yesterday we went detecting and panning for gold. We didn't find anything with our detectors. Having a little trouble with the all metal mode on the GTI. Probably should get an actual gold detector.
We did find a little Gold with our Garret gravity trap pans(which we bought in Texas oddly enough). After about 45 minutes of finding nothing the color finally started showing up. It's not much but it's a start!!

Nothing like what you get in Alaska, but it's there. If you're interested, PM me when you get back to Texas. Actually, it's here in Oklahoma too, so you're right in between it in Dallas.
