The 2nd CRH of the week for KT....and actually better than the earlier one! :shock::shock:

KT was surprised when He opened Box 1, for lo, there in the 4th row was an ender! 64 to boot!! And as KT proceeded to work through that box, the silver kept rolling out, to the tune of 4 64 Kens, 4 40% Ag Kens, and a nice proof!

Then came Box 2, which was completely silverless (amazing how drastic one box to another can be), but in the last few rolls, a 1933 King Geo V large penny showed up....same size and close to the same weight as a regular Ken!

Box 3, not to be outdone by Box 1, just rolled the silver out for Old KT! To the tune of 8 64 Kens, 9 40% Ag Kens, and another single proof!

Box 4 could not match Box 1 and Box 3, but beat Box 2 soundly with a single 40% Ag Ken!

Finally Box 5 stepped up, but proved to be silverless, but tucked away in its recesses was 1 fine looking 87 Ken...looking like it just came out of a roll!

So the Royal Total is: 12 64 Kens, 14 40% Ag Kens, 2 Proofs, 1 87 Ken, and that nice King Geo V big penny!

This is one of the better hunts of the year, so October started off with a silver BANG!

See it all in the pics below! Gonna be hard next week to equal this CRH! :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Wow! A full dozen '64's?!! You killed it this week, KT! More than makes up for a slow week or 2. Big congrats on the royal plundering of the halves!

Yep, it sure does! Royal Thanks for your kind comments, Junkminer! If this keeps up, KT will have to hire some guards for the guards of the Royal Treasure Room! :laughing: :laughing:

If you have never seen British large penny, it is an attractive coin, clean strike, reverse is reminicent of some large old Roman coins, with a seated helmeted female warrior. The king looks very kingly! Hail, Brittania! :lol::lol:

:lol: So true , I hate when that happens !

Super congrats to you ,your Highne$$ ! You've certainly added to the royal treasury in a very Kingly way !
:kingdances::money:

Royal Thanks, SoilSurgeon! KT does Not hate when that happens! :lol::lol: His Highness thrives and prospers when some one commits stupidity! Sure makes up for some of those blank weeks recently!

Now that’s a switch. Usually it’s the banks. Not sure what you mean but...congrats KT!

You are correct, amc rulz. Since many banks insist that they will not deal with bulk change, other that having it dumped in their coin machine...an upper level business management decision KT is certain, it gives no chance for an honest bank employee to tell folks to take their coins to a dealer for examination before dumping them, thus making the coin dumper appear stupid...or maybe they are because have not bothered to be educated about the historic usage of silver in coinage. The beginning MDer probably knows a lot more about coinage than the average citizen. And Royal Thanks for your comment! :D:D:D

If you remember the movie "Tough Guys" with Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas(Sr.), then you might remember a "small person" being asked if he wants to be part of a train robbery and other multiple questions about the job. Every answer was the same and said in a certain way. I can't put that inflection over the net typing, but here goes, "niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!"

Yep, KT remembers! :laughing::laughing:
