Hi there,

I found these recently in my field with Nox 800. First thought they may be lipstick cases but now that I've cleaned them a bit I don't think so. Anyone know what they are? They are similar but not exactly the same.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes they are closed on one end, open on the other. The open end has been flattened though. I do have some pics of the ends but was having trouble uploading them. I'll try again tomorrow.

If they are just thin tubes, including the end, I'd go with lipstick outer tubes. The decorations look like that too.

I believe they could be utility wire crimp connectors of some kind.
Think of something a lineman would use while working on poles??

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I haven't been able to find any pics online that look similar. I'll continue checking...

re: metal cases - possibly lipstick case cover

I may have found a match. This vintage metal lipstick case (found pic on Ebay) looks very similar to one of my items. Not sure of the brand or manufacturer yet though.

re: metal cases - possibly lipstick case cover

Ok, looks like these cases are potentially made by Clinique and not very old after all. This pic pretty closely matches the second item that I found.

Thanks for the help everyone!
