It got cold fast here in Minnesota but the lakes haven't had time to really freeze enough yet to the point i would be comfortable walking out on the ice. I drove by lake Mille Lacs today and wouldn't you know it; there were two and a half ice fishing houses on the lake...............................they only count towards the total if they are above the water though............................lol. Stay safe in the water all, ill be back when its warm.

To cold up there for me!! Wow! A whole winter without hunting!!

Ours get to the point of freezing around the rim of the shore but toward the middle it is rare. The one year it did freeze up good seemed like all of the targets got pushed up, gold was shallow.

Very rare for it to freeze up like this here in the Bay...Bay Bridge in the back ground..
