Hello .. i found this in 4 different holes spread out in 1/2 acre .. anyone have any idea what and when this was issued .. thanks for looking .... 401K ....

Try doing some research for WWII Forget Me Not bracelets. You might be able to find something.

The "star"piece looks like a "blue star" as in, the blue star mothers. You see parents that hang the flags with a blue star on it for each child they have serving in combat. This could be something related to that.

Regardless, it's a great find!
