Got out today at one of my old home sites with the AT Pro. I found a 1944 wheat penny, my 2nd sterling silver WW2 jump wings, and a mysterious aluminum disc shaped piece with a winged horse on it. I haven't the slightest clue on what it could be.

Sorry I can't help with the winged horse but just wanted to say those jump wings are one of the coolest finds Iv'e seen posted, not your average relic find, those were hard earned and were at one time the most important thing to the paratrooper who earned them. Big congrats on a great find!!

Here's the back side of the winged horse disc.

thought it was the first image they used for Pegasus/Mobiloil oil companies, but cant find anything like it. Their wings are swept back more. interesting find

love those jump wings!

Congratulations on those jump wings! Would be wonderful if you could find the owner, but not likely. Silversmith, congrats to you in your paratrooper past.
