The art metal works button help?

Found an older looking button, it depicts an eagle and anchor on the front and on the back it says "The Art Metal Works, Newark NJ" I can't seem to gind any other buttons from this company that has an eagle with an anchor. Does anyone know what button this is?

I don’t know anything about the design, but the Art Metal Works originally started manufacturing all kinds of metal products in 1897. The name changed to “Ronson Art Metal Works” sometime in the 1930s, so that might help narrow down the date range - although it’s certainly possible they still used the same backmarks for awhile after the name change. Art Metal Works ultimately became the company that produced Ronson lighters.

It resembles many Marine buttons
