Can this thing signal at all with a rusty nail on top a quarter? I have iron bias 0 recovery at8
5 tones. I tried iron tone 0 but it high tones on big rusty screw. Can anyone recommend settings or is that too hard for the machine to see?

Read the manual on the Mine lab Equinox manuals online and it will explain what to do. I keep my bias at 2 and have less problems with iron now.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless you are just curious about capabilities. Nobody can know how things are/were really sitting by the time we dig the hole and mess things up. But I thought seeing somewhere that it could give SOME indication on that scenario....
