wheat penny & dynamite tag

from a old school. penny is a 1930/50 but cant tell yet. The dynamite tag is from a local company that made explosives during the 20 and 30s.
 
Yeah... that, I think, is a "first find" in here.

Cool find, do you know what the purpose of the tag was for?? I'm sure the boxes that it was shipped in would be marked...........

I do not know what the tags purpose was but as

a guess I would say a lot number as it has 717 on it. the town of nitro was built to produce powder for artillery shell's during WW1 but it was not completed until after the war had ended but powder was made there for road construction and mining for a short time. i have no idea to be honest but will see if i can find out.
