1853 Seated Half Dime #2 fty

I dug a real nice 1853 Halfdime on March 8 from this farm field. Tonight about 50 yards away I scored another. This one is not as nice but Ill take it as I dug nothing else of note in a two hour hunt. First pic is after cleaning in the field. Farm field silvers usually come out dark especially the older ones

I found a 1837 seated half dime and pounded the field hoping for her cap bust sister to be 50 feet away ... great find in any shape

I know what you mean. Most of my half dimes have come from sites that had activity back to colonial times but I have yet to score a US silver older than my seated half dimes:(
