Flat base carbine and a .69 calibre "tower"....the 1942 S war nickel and harmonica reeds came from the same area...

I believe you have a .69 3-ringer, there. The .69 "Tower" is in the style of an Enfield and was called the "Tower" because of it's manufacture, in the Tower of London, England.

You most certainly found some CW rounds. Congrat's!

the guy who told me it was possibly a "tower" only saw the picture too....so you may well be right.
