Amazing pictures! Luckily for the photographer that hungry grizzly was so focused on the bison it didn't go for the easier target

That's amazing! I am in the process of going through 1,000+ images from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons RIGHT NOW. My father-in-law and his nephew got back six days ago from there. They went on a month long hunt. My father-in-law said he saw more grizzlies this year than in the last five or six years combined!
