Default Should I and best way

Hello all this Iím sure has been discussed but fairly new. A month ago i found my first silver and oldest coin 1893 Barber Dime. Was told not to clean that one. Went back to same area and scored again. 1917 Buffalo Nickel and a new oldest 1891 IHP Both in fairly bad shape so i know there value is not much. So should i go ahead and clean these babies. Thank you in advance.
