Don't get too excited, just halves and dimes.
March halves started out with a 4 box skunk. A total of 4 nifcs and that's it. Pee yew.
I did finally get my two more boxes of dimes, but they want to start charging per box again, so it was fun while it lasted. These were sadly more typical --
Box 1 - 1 silver rosie, and 1 canadian dime. Of course, they gave their dimes a nickel plating, including a silvery edge. I can see where I'd be cursing our northern border a lot if I kept hunting dimes!
Box 2 - 1 more silver rosie, and a 2002s proof dime. The proof stood out when edge-hunting -- looks brand new, but so do the 2015 dimes, but it was the thickest looking dime I ever saw. I notice that with half proofs, too, they generally seem a smidge thicker as well.
And then, 4 more boxes of halves with good results:
Box 1 - 2 40%ers, and an '87.
Box 2 - 2 40%ers
Box 3 - 3 40%ers and an '86 proof
Box 4 - 1 40%er and... a '44 Walker! It's so crazy when these show up!
Pix below. Happy Hunting. Oh yeah, somewhere along the way, a silver plated 71 and a gold plated 71. Both in nice shape!
