Hey all, so I'm looking to get started in the hobby as I've always had some interest. I did pick up my son a cheap bounty hunter detector a few years back that we used to dig up some old nails. But I'd like to give this a proper go, I'm intrigued by history and treasure hunting. No I don't think I'll find some lost pirate's gold, but finding some old relics and coins will be fun.

Hoping to pick up a used Garrett AT Pro that I was offered for a steal. Still have a couple months before the ground is soft enough to dig anyway.
