Well, I guess I should have said I'm not a "newbie" to detecting. Dad used to be a Garret dealer way back when in Ohio and I caught the bug about 4 years ago, starting out with a 300ID then onto a Whites PI then onto the CTX. I thoroughly enjoy not having to dig up bobby pins and bottle caps anymore.
