Been there a while or well worn. Most of the numbers have been rubbed off.
18k with what looks to be 0.35 to 0.30ct diamond of fairly high quality.

Looking at the proportions of that diamond, to your finger. I'd guess you're actually sitting on a .50 ct stone.

The difference between 1/3 and 1/2 on a round stone is only .5mm. It's worth measuring. If you've got a 4.5mm stone, it's 1/3... if it's a solid 5mm, you've got a 1/2 carat there.

Upon seeing the pic of your find, I actually thought, "Ohhhhh Now THAT is Pimptastic!" Then I scrolled down and observed that DaviDs already had it covered!:laughing:

Thanks Skippy. Did some comparisons with other diamonds I have. Definitely not bigger than 0.4ct. But I can always hope.

the 1 I found that could fit was a Cartier and must have been worn by a sumo wrestler in the 700lb department. Slides on and off my thumb with ease

18k is always welcome!! Rare for me to find here...18k and one that fits..
 
Nice 18K and Ice brother :yes: Don't get too many of those big diamonds over here. Let us know the Cs if you get it appraised.
