Default * Another great day at the seaside *

Has been very quite this past week but today I was back in looting mode!
I cruised the low tide up & down today for a couple of hours.Plenty of targets kept me busy.
Right on low tide, ankle deep got that low GT growl. Two scoops, washed the sand out & could hear that magic sound jiggling in my scoop.Boom an 18ct wedding band, weight 2.5 grams.
Nice mixed bag as well including 2 pennies and a 925 silver toe ring.
Cleaned up nicely as usual.

Congrats on the gold. All the band's you find seem to be thin. Are they mostly lady rings?

Yes you are probably right Steve,I do find mens bands too but lately the majority do seem to be female one's.

Really doesn't matter though. I bet any gold gets you going and keeps you motivated. Congrats on the yellow. It all adds up right?

Pretty interesting how different cultures and even ib different time frames have different tastes in jewellery. Luckily you are hitting 18k and not that other !!!! being passed around as gold.

Good hunt Meggie. I wish I could find something yellow. I did see a banana laying on the beach about a week ago. But I let it lay in case Mud wanted to pick it up for lunch.

That's a nice ring! If you're finding pennies at that beach, then you might also find some old silver coins too!

Good to see gold is still coming. It's a good thing you found that toe ring and not me or I would've modeled it for you fine pirates!
