I was killing time in my front yard and hit this standing Liberty quarter at about 3". There is no way that I hadn't swung my DeLeon over this coin multiple times! I'm loving the AT Pro.

Sweet find! Contrats on the silver! I am thinking of doing my yard again now that I have done an update to my equinox.

Congrats on the SLQ and the V Nickel. Shiny silvers are the best.

Whoa, coup,e great finds from a couple different eras......Im thinking there is much more!

Nice! My first SLQ came from my front yard, under the edge of the sidewalk.

OK, coin guys here are the key identifiers areas I was able to find via Google on the difference between a 1916 and 1917 SLQ. Let me know what you think, especially what you see in the circle.
Many Thanks
Shawn

I'm not saying that the depth had anything to do with it. I've had some great finds with my DeLeon. Mostly I was surprised to find these coins at ALL, since I know I've covered the ground with the DeLeon and not sure how I could have missed a silver that and a nickel like that. I was pretty shocked to dig them up.
