this one I found it at a narrow path in the woods.
Possible US made - shot by Garand rifle ? :?:

Again post WW2 and not fired by Garand. It used the 30-06 cartridge while this one is .308 win/7,62x51 Nato.Manufacturer was German company named Manusaar, located in Saarbrucken I think. Probably doesn't exist any more...it's possible that the number code contains the year..probably 59. 57 is likely some batch code.

Good call, hadn't thought about them being around in the 50's and looked and came out in '55
