Copper pennies?

Hey, guys--

Newb question: How much are copper pennies actually "worth"? Sites like this: http://www.coinflation.com// show that they're worth about 256% face value, so is it profitable to save up copper pennies and trade them in for melt/scrap/etc.? If so, how/where does one go about trading them in?

I have been saving copper pennies for a couple years now. It is illegal to melt them so I guess the only thing you can do is trade them until/if the ban on melting them is lifted. :roll:
