I found their buttons!! Was hunting with a friend at one of her permissions and found one button near a tree and was stoked. I moved around the tree some and moved on to the backyard for a little. Then Decided to try around the back of the tree and 💥 hit the mother load of fire department buttons !!!!

WOW makes you wonder what the heck happened there :?:
I envision someone Ripping open their fire coat or something because they are on fire or something and the buttons flying everywhere

I’m guessing 1850 to 1890

The same button was used here until 1902, for what it is worth!

I did do quick google search and found lots of pictures of this button on etsy & ebay but no real info. It did seem this was a fairly common FD uniform button.

The design style does seem to be mid 1800's to early 1900's. So unless you can nail down who was the fire fighter at that house and when you'll have to just accept a wide date range.
