What am I missing on this Sovereign lower shaft?

Bought this on Ebay.
I seem to be missing a piece to connect the two lower pieces?
ANybody know what it is I am missing?

It appears you might be missing the female end.

You just need to line up the lower rod button so the coil is lined right and epoxy it to the coil part. Whites uses some plastic drive pins. Also the repair for a minelab lower rod is to buy a whites tall man lower rod and peel off the rod from the ML lower connector and epoxy the whites tube on it. The coil connectors are different so this is how its done.

I have fixed several like that, you line up the coil so it is perfectly straight like siting down a rifle, after inserting and aligning it make a mark on the lower stem and lower shaft to be able to line it up again in same position and then apply marine epoxy to stem and reinsert it. I recommend marine epoxy if you ever intend to use it in the water..
