Went out the other night across the road in the churchyard,and dug a few targets.One gave a funny signal,and a piece of round iron came out of the hole.Almost pitched it on the road,but put it in my pocket for whatever reason.Came home and started scraping it with a knife cause it just seemed weird,and I knew something was encased in it..Broke a chunk off and I could see the rim of a coin,I’ve been at this coin off and on for 2 days getting the rusted iron off of it,or whatever it is it’s hard,crusty and don’t break or crumble.But here it is,a 1943 s nickel.
