I set a goal last year to walk at least a mile every day for the entire year. Most days I walked further. Until September and I was adjusting the cover on my boat. Went to take a step and tripped on something. Maybe a lump of air. Set my left foot down hard to catch my balance. Dang that set me on fire. The pain did not last long but tying to walk was a problem So in early Nov the surgeon replaced the tendons that I had shattered. I can still walk slowly but sure cant walk fast enough or far enough to get in the miles I need.
