I just realized there is a front and back, which means you got two birthday cakes. Now, I am thinking back to the IHP cake last year...if there were two of those cakes too, I didn't realize that.

They were yummy - I can vouch for that! Happy belated birthday, Garrett! God has blessed me so much in giving me you for a brother & friend. 
What a special memory! Thank you for sharing it. My mom was taught cake making & decorating by her mother. People said the same thing about my grandma's wedding cakes - they were tasty, while most were not. It sounds like your mother and my grandma had something in common!
