quick way to clean common coins and relics?

I have a bunch of Indians, brass relics, copper coins etc. that are not worth much but so caked in dirt and grime that I can't wash it off with simple soap and water. Does anyone have any quick ways to clean the caked in dirt and other stuff off the coin? They are not rare coins or relics so I would just like a quick and simple way to clean them as im not worried about losing value.
