Newbie here looking to getting into MDing. Have been researching detectors and excited about getting into the hobby. Have an old, old detector that was my grandfathers but it doesn't work well anymore it seems. I'll be checking out the forums to learn from everyone.

Welcome from Kansas. I still use a detector that I bought in the early 80's and it still finds silver. Maybe not as much as the newer detectors, but I'm used to it.
