It was a rainy night and I thought it would be perfect to get out to a beach tot lot. Looks like it has been hunted before, but I still came up with a few items.

Oldest coin is a 1963 D Penny

Not sure about the ring, it looks like it might not even be metal, INDIA is stamped inside.

No idea on the ear ring, no idea on the stone or metal type, any ideas on how to tell if it is silver?

If that is a hunted site you did good, That ring looks like its plated from the pictures. Still a nice one :)

Anyone will tell you, if you hunt a section the best you can. You can go back the next day and find something you missed.WTG!!!;)

Rings from India have shown up this last 3-4 years. Some look more silver than silver. No way to tell if the ear ring is silvere without a stamp - except to get a test bottle and see. Here's a cheap one that I have used for years. Put a drop on the metal , let dry & if it doesn't wash off it's silver. This is what silversmiths use to darken features on silver. steve in so az
