gold nickel, ring, Army Corps of Engineers

The last couple hunts have been pretty good to me; highlighted with a big ol' silver Peace Dollar I posted in another thread. Here are some things I didn't mention there: My first Lewis & Clark nickel, and it is gold in color. My eyes were telling me I dug a gold coin, but my common sense knew it wasn't true. Just happened to be a gold plated one. Of course, I had to look it up, just to be sure. 2004-D Then I got this little silver ring with a garnet heart. It was gold plated, but that flaked off; exposing the sterling silver underneath. My wife loves it, and says there is a small diamond on each side. Another interesting object is the pin button with a castle pressed into it. I looked it up, and found this is an Army Corps of Engineers symbol. This is a thin, low quality pin, with dirt damage, but pretty cool anyway. Other fun junk was dug, too, but here are pics of these:

What? Not another peace dollar. Boooooo! Just kidding man cool finds. Hard to follow the last one.
