A friend invited me over his house to try out my new AT Max. He is a seasoned metal detector so he was going to give me some pointers. The ground in the south Miami area is really rocky so digging is tough. We only had about an hour before dark so it was really just a little lesson time. His property is full of old material, coins and such, but we didn't have enough time to cover any area. We did find some old (unknown) metal items. Attached are pictures of his property. He has recovered some real finds here in the past.

Are you allowed to hunt on places noted as historic sites?

Actually it is private property now. My friend's home. He is required by the Historical Landmark designation to keep the building historically accurate.

We concentrated on an area under the tree roots of a tree that was uprooted by hurricane Irma. There was a lot of old glass fragments under the tree.
