my mother told me that there was a old housing addition that the city had condemned seems like they bulldozed it and made in to a park mostly poor people lived there not sure it would be worth the effort to detect any thoughts on this I only know that it was used by bootleggers in the 60s

Coins aren't the only "riches" out there...and even the poorest had pocket change....so you're bound to find something.

Make sure you wear some gloves. Some people have reported digging needles and such in parks similar to that. GL HH
