Women weren't the only ones to carry coin purses back then. I once found the contents of a coin purse. First I found the clasp, and then the eight targets surrounding it. Everyone was an old Kansas sales tax token. No coins at all.

Wow, great find! I love the picture of the coins and pieces of leather from the coin purse. That picture alone is what our dreams are made of.
