lightning is for sure something to not play with.i had a good friend and about
6-7 years ago him and some guys was cutting pulp wood up in the mountains
when it came up a storm.all the other guys headed back up to the top of the
mountain to there vehicles and my friend was nominated to walk down and get the skidder(a big tired vehicle used to pull logs).about 15-20 min's went
by and they heard a loud pop and a bright flash.They ran down to mike and
they said when they tried to pick him up he was like jello,reckon it just dece-
nigrated his bones and blew his knee high work boots off his feet.my papaw
dropped a tv antenna on a powerline when my dad was just a boy.needless
to say when it even looks like there might be some lightning in the area this
ole boy don't go outside,i get nervous plugging in a lamp
