I had disregarded any type of wrench because it didn't have any holes for a rod to go through... but the wagon hub wrench is an idea, it could have had a wooden component to it that I don't have. Good suggestion, thanks!

I'm with the wagon hub. Could be a strap type handle to go around the round part. Sort of like an oil filter wrench. Just my thoughts.

If you do a google image search for “wheel bearing locknut socket” you will see it in the search results. I think you have the jumbo one
