Civil War pistol bullet??

Went metal detecting today on a ridge over looking where a small civil war battle to place and found this small bullet nearly 6 inches deep. Can any of you Civil War experts here determine what type of bullet it is or if it is Civil War period? Hope the pictures help.

I'm betting on a cast 10mm/40 cal modern bullet.

Yep on the .40 Cal.Most likely Glock due to that funky rifling they use.

From the heavy white oxidation I’m thinking it well could be a civil war era bullet.

NCtoad, I added new pictures of the bullet. I cleaned it up better in hopes to improve identification.

It is 3 to 1 in favor of a modern bullet. I will go with modern bullet and melt it down with my scrap lead. Thanks for every ones input!
