Found my first gold this morning on an "impromptu" beach hunt. I decided to go back to this beach I didn't do too well on previously, and then about
10 minutes into it, I hit this bracelet at 6" just inside the high tide line.
It's a really nice looking piece, however the stamp on the clasp was difficult to read, but I can make out a "585" with some sort of icon next to it. I've read this is the European stamp for 48% gold. Can anyone verify?
But everyone was right who said there is no thrill like seeing that gold glisten in the sand! :wow2:

Nice gold, just what the heck is it? A bracelet? Put a dime next to it for scale. 585 = 14KT.

My bad- it's a 7 " long bracelet, must have been an awful thin wrist it was on lol.
