contest starts Feb. 14th 7AM EST to Feb 16th 10PM EST

I want to know -
How much gold to the dollar did I sell in 2008
I want a monetary figure

I will give out one of these to the closest guesser

Well, Since most you post for 2008 started with the words "Finally got out" and most of the pictures you have up are very impressive rings. I would say you didnt sell any big $0. That's my guess for today. I'll try again tomorrow.
 
I have not sold gold since I think 1981 - though that won't help you - cause I was a coinhunter/relichunter mostly till after 2000 when I went from 95% land 5% water hunting to 95% water and 5% land.

I post more on another forum - I write for their magazine
I have brought good people from there to here and from here to there

I promised myself I would sell the first time it hit $900 - I never thought it would
But it did - and I did

almost all of the gold in this pic is gone (there is silver jewelry in there I still have)

Once again - total I made from selling my gold finds in 2008 - NOT from only 2008 gold finds
I decided to sell most of my gold in 2008 that I have found over the yrs.because the price was so high
Here is a little hint - I just sold a handful of gold last week and got $2965 for it
