Looking for a solution to keep me from losing my Garrett Pro-Pointer AT, without having a long looping lanyard, I talked to a buddy of mine who is an avid fisherman. He recommended a magnetic net holder. I'm very happy with my magnetic keeper. It's plenty strong so I don't need to worry about the pinpointer coming off by accident, and the cord stretches as far as I need it to, without having a long lanyard hanging down and catching on stuff. I'm a happy camper!
