My hunts between last month and now were so disheartening. After my gold bonanza, I'd go out do fuel my addiction, but the targets were few and far between, with none being gold. Nothing silver either. Not even a skimpy bathing suit!
Finally after some good movement I landed some goodies.

A couple toe rings, rosie, horseshoe pendant, pieces off of jewelry and a chunk of what I think is platinum.
Ring is 2grams of 10k and diamonds test real.

That ring is 10K?

Yep. I didn't even think it was real when I found it.
There was alot more green crust.
The crust popped off pretty cleanly and it's marked.
It also has the weight.
This has been marinating it the salt for a long time.
All low karat gold will do this.

:dingding: Congrats on the well seasoned gold!

Congrats on the ancient gold. Your right when you say all low Karat gold does this crusting over. THey also get brittle as well so be careful and dont drop it.
