6000/Di PRP SL

Hi all. I just inherited a White's 6000/Di PRO SL metal detector. I've never swung a White's machine before and I know this must be somewhat dated. I was just wondering how good it is by today's standards??

I have to run to town for batteries before I can even try it out.

Best analog units White's ever made imo

Some of my deepest finds came from my White's 6000. Pay particular attention to any target where the needle goes all the way left and sounds deep. For me many times it was a very deep coin.

I spent a lot of time detecting with a 6000 Di Pro back in the day. On the bulky side compared to newer machines but they work well.
