I hope I'm still your friend after I tell you this, its worth squat. Tootsie toy has been making small cars for decades. My step dad worked for Tootsie (think tootsie roll) in Chicago for years. They have little going for them as far as collector value is concerned, especially after being buried.
A couple rare "mistakes" if still in the box, may have a $5 - $25 value, but not yours. Some display models, some war machines and other weird, over sized toys can be worth 50 - 200 but again, condition is key. They made thousands of Jags. Hope this helps, remember, I am just the messenger! Paul __________________ |

I have a tootsie fire truck with the date "1970" on the bottom. I'm sure it's not worth much

I've found several Tootsie Toy cars as well. If you google them there are some good websites that can tell you when they were made, what they look like in good condition, and how much they are worth. I think they are a cool find regardless of value. I found two from the early sixties with a kid's initials still on them. They are worth something to me, and as far as I'm concerned, that's what counts. __________________ |
