Any tips on how this newby can get the most out of my Delata 4000?
Only used it twice so far. |

Yes I Have been using mine most of the summer, I would not consider myself an expert by any means. I run as high of sens before it chatters, also I just notch out iron. When are near trashy areas go slow ,which would be true for any detector. I have found that somtimeS you have to dig the bouncy signals, because sometimes they are good finds. I too just use the standard coil. Best is to do air tests to get used to the noises and vid numbers. They will fluctuate a bit with coins in the ground but not that much. Practice!!
Their are other Teknetics user that will chime in. Monte comes to mind. |

Nothing better than experience. You will be VERY surprised what the Delta can do. VERY underrated detector!!
